About NIBA Members

NIBA has almost 300 member companies at 350 locations (including branches). Membership is composed of about 59 percent Distributor/Fabricators, 36 percent Manufactuers, and 5 percent Affiliate members. Our membership is located primarily in North America, but increasing growth has come from all over the world.

Distributor company size ranges from family-owned single location business to very large companies with many locations throughout the United States, with the majority being small to medium-sized.

Our Manufacturer members produce the following conveyor belt types:

• Rubber-covered woven or conventional plied belting, both light duty and heavy duty;
• PVC solid woven both in heavy duty and light duty;
• Monofilament, multi-filament, and thermoplastic belting both in single and multi-ply.
• Nylon-core flat power transmission belting.
• Machine tapes and other specialty flat belts.
• Manufacturers also produce ancillary items such as conveyor belt fasteners, idlers, training devices, cleaners, and buckets.

Differing in size and geographic location, and representing diverse interests, NIBA members have chosen to work together through NIBA and to have NIBA work for them.
